Modesty

When I was in the train the other day, I saw an Indian construction worker. He had a brand new rice cooker, still in the box with the ‘paid’ sticker on the box. One thing about him is that, he looked calm. As he took out a piece of paper (the receipt, I supposed) from his pocket, he started to fold it. He’s making an origami. A crane? Nahh.. A boat? Nahh..

After awhile, he started blowing air into the origami. Ahhhh, it must be a box. He tried a few times but I guess the box didn’t inflate and he put the paper back in his pocket.

My point is, how often do we see people making origami in a packed train during peak hours? All I see is people playing games on their Iphones and listening to music. In their own world. Now what happen to simple pleasures like origami?

I think Iphone is unhealthy. ;/

I guess it’s time for us to be aware of our surrounding. :)

Participants age between 15-20 years of age.

This is a 3-day camp,11 - 13 June 2012. (Mon-Wed)
